INFERNO

Inferno began as a project without a defined form, driven by the intention to represent and express my emotions during a particularly turbulent period in my life.
By chance, I attended a William Blake exhibition in Madrid where I encountered his works dedicated to Dante's Inferno and his fascination with depicting the circles of hell. This one in particular:
Inspired by Blake's art, Inferno took shape and evolved into a simple algorithm that represented my personal hell through abstract forms. My aim was to create a series of pieces that incorporated pictorial principles allegorical to the feminine, abstract painting, and the depiction of souls absorbed by suffering, purgatory, and punishment.
